Feb 3 - Roaring 20's Throwback
As a part of Lindon's Centennial Celebrations, we are going back in time! Join us for a "throwback in time" to the roaring 20's at the Wadley Farm's Castle! There will be music, treats, activities, prizes, and much more! Come dressed in your best throwback outfit and get ready to learn the Charleston with some BYU dancers! Help us celebration this centennial year and get ready to party at Wadley Farm's Castle! The event goes from 6:30-8:00 PM and is free to all.

Mar 18 - Centennial Proclamation
Attend a special City Council meeting for the reading our the Centennial Proclamation declaring Mar 25 to be "Lindon Day" and to celebrate our 100th Year as a city. The meeting will start at 5:15 PM at the Lindon City Center (100 N Main Street).
Mar 25 - Lindon Dowdle Puzzle Unveiling
To celebrate the Centennial Celebrations of Lindon City, join us as we unveil our Lindon City Dowdle Puzzle! The event will start at 6:30 PM at the Lindon Community Center. Eric Dowdle. our Mayor, and City Council will help unveil our Centennial puzzle. Don't miss out on your chance to see the large puzzle and enjoy an evening with treats and entertainment. Puzzles will be available for pickup following this event. Pre-orders for the puzzle and prints are available at the link below.

Apr 13 - Healthy Lindon Kickoff
Join us at the Lindon City Park to kickoff our Healthy Lindon initiative! Come see the challenges, prizes, races, hikes, and events happening for 2024. Make sure to pickup your Healthy Lindon packet to prepare for the coming months.
MAY
May 3 - Centennial Arbor Day Celebration
Join Lindon Parks & Rec and the Lindon Tree Board as we celebrate Arbor Day! We will be planting a centennial tree and unveiling a centennial bench. There will be tree giveaways, food, prizes, and much more! Don't forget to pickup fliers with information on how to help your trees and plants.

Jun 5 - Summer Centennial Party
Join Lindon Parks & Rec as we kick off summer in a historic way! The Centennial Summer Kickoff will be an event you do not want to miss! There will be foam machines, shave ice, dunk tanks, lawn games, and much more! Don’t forget to stop by the pavilion and check out our Centennial TIME CAPSULE!

Watermelon Bust (2-3 PM)
WATERMELON BUST!!
We are bringing back a historic game that the residents of Lindon used to play back in the early 1900’s! Sign ups will be available at the event for the main watermelon bust and age divisions will be open for the watermelon seed spitting competition! This event will start at 2:00 PM.
Watermelon Bust: This competition will be for those 16 y/o+. Each participant will be given a seedless watermelon and will need to break open the watermelon and eat all the insides to win the competition. The event will be limited to 20 individuals.

Seed Spitting: Each person wanting to participate will receive watermelon wedge. They need to keep at least one of the seeds for the comp. Each person will lineup and spit the seed as far as they can. The person who spits the farthest in each age group wins! The age groups will be 11-13, 14-15, 16-17, 18-54, 55+ with no cap on participants per age group.
